Foundation

Who We Are:

The Jefferson Hospital Foundation is an organization of concerned citizens who meet regularly to learn about the operation and services of the hospital, share ideas for its improvement, and raise funds to assist Jefferson Hospital in its mission of exceptional care.

Why We're Here:

A newly-revitalized organization, the Foundation was established to generate resources to help support the hospital in its mission of providing excellent patient care and wellness information and improving the health of our community citizens.

Where We Work:

Any need of the hospital identified by hospital physicians, staff and employees or Foundation members will be considered for Foundation support and funding. Special consideration will be given to supporting projects and equipment to help improve the health and welfare of community citizens.

What We Do:

The Foundation works to aid the hospital in improving its operation and services, especially through raising, managing, and disbursing the necessary funds to support specific, identified activities and equipment. In a sense, the Foundation represents all the people who donate to the hospital – by providing support for patients, physicians, nurses and staff – with resources that would not be available otherwise. These gifts fund additional equipment and services and add a margin of excellence in the care given to our community.

When We Came Into Being:

The Foundation had been inactive for a time, but was reorganized in January of 2008, and has been actively at work since that time, and is becoming a permanent partner with the hospital in many phases of its work.

How We Do It:

Opportunities to donate to Jefferson Hospital through the Jefferson Hospital Foundation are designed to meet the needs of all donors who wish to support our work.
